Council for the Prevention of
    Child Abuse and Neglect,
    CPCAN Jackson

CPCAN Jackson works to prevent child abuse and
neglect in the Jackson community.

Strong, healthy children are the foundation of a
successful, productive society. CPCAN programs are
aimed at helping all children grow up in safe,
nurturing homes.

Practical, parent-centered programs offer plenty of
one-on-one interaction. Topics include child
development, age-appropriate discipline techniques and strategies for dealing with stress.

Be a Light in the Darkness

“Be a Light in the Darkness...” Please be that light that helps CPCAN end the darkness of child abuse and neglect by donating to our End of the Year Matched Giving/Membership Campaign. For 40 years, The Council for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect has been working hard to make a positive difference in the lives of the children of Jackson County.  We have pursued our mission, to educate and strengthen our community to prevent child abuse and neglect in Jackson County.  CPCAN has been holding professional development training events, parent and community training covering mandated reporting training classes, Stewards of Children training classes, Nurturing Fathers Classes and working with other agencies to bring needed dollars in the fight against child abuse and neglect. Over the past few years, we have helped to bring in over $417,000 to the Jackson Community for programming and resources.

Help us continue our work by becoming a member or through donations. Now through December 31st, all donations and memberships fees will be matched by five generous local supporters. Funds raised from this campaign will assist the CPCAN in its many efforts to protect the children of Jackson County throughout the year. Your contribution is necessary to sustain our efforts to protect the children in our community.  You can also help out CPCAN if you would share our fundraiser on Facebook with your facebook friends!! Just follow the link on the "Click here to Donate" button and share the fundraiser to your page and invite your friends to donate.  It takes a community to prevent child abuse and neglect, please give generously today!

No Child should be a victim. Be a light this holiday season so that one more child can be free from the cycle of abuse.  Help CPCAN of Jackson County shine a light in the darkness and make a difference one child at a time!
